About BFMI

Reaching nations and changing lives through evangelism, church planting and discipleship

B.F.M.I was founded in December 2011 by Cleto and Blessing Mhuru with the purpose of evangelizing, planting churches and making disciples of people groups in less reached communities. B.F.M.I trains, equips, sends, and support Christian leaders for ministry. Our ministry process follows 3 cardinal points:

EVANGELISM

  • Identification of the area and people group to be reached
  • Mobilization of evangelism team, resources and funds
  • Securing convenient venue, hall, open ground, and tent pitching
  • Accommodation for evangelism team
  • Conducting evangelism crusade (normally 3 to 7 days). Each evangelism ends with a first Sunday church service.

CHURCH PLANTING

  • Christian leaders following-up on new converts doing home visitations
  • Securing of a convenient venue for Sunday services
  • Sufficient funds for accommodation of Christian workers and for the venue
  • Basic guideline teaching to new believers – “What you need to know as a new believer”
  • Church planting team stays in an area for 1 – 2 weeks before leaving behind an assigned key leader to take care of the established assembly

DISCIPLESHIP

  • Assignment of a key leader (pastor, elder or lay leader)
  • Pastoral care and discipleship for believers
  • Making disciples who can disciple others
  • Church missions work – serving the local community through pastoral care in wider sense

B.F.M.I has its centre in Domboshava Showgrounds, Nyakudya Village which is about 40km from Harare CBD. The centre, budded “The Launching Pad” is to house our Church Headquarters, The Victors Bible Institute and Vocational Training School.

VISION

MISSION

GOALS

To preach the Gospel with the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power through the healing of the sick, deliverance from demon possession, and salvation.

Bringing salvation, healing, deliverance, empowerment of the underprivileged, planting churches in every community, building communities, training and equipping Christian leaders, and restoring lost hope through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit is what defines us among others.”

(apostle Cleto Mhuru)

I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)
